City of Rainier partners with Revenue’s Business Licensing Service

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Feb. 4, 2021 – The city of Rainier today joins its Thurston County neighbors as the newest local partner of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS).

Named for its views of the state’s highest peak, the pastoral community of 2,000 is home to more than 50 local businesses.

BLS partnership now connects Rainier’s commerce with all incorporated cities of Thurston and Pierce counties, including Roy and Yelm – neighbor cities along the route to Paradise in Mount Rainier National Park. City partnership in BLS allows businesses to register for and renew state and local licenses in one convenient process.

BLS partner cities are a network of more than 150 communities with more than 30 cities joining in 2021.

A list of partner cities can be found on the city license endorsements page.
