Sales tax now applies to some services

Starting October 1: Some business services are now subject to retail sales tax, as required by state law, ESSB 5814. When you buy these services, vendors should add sales tax to your bill. Airway Heights charts course for combined licensing

OLYMPIA, WASH. – July 18, 2019 – Airway Heights in Spokane County is the newest city partner in the Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS).

Airway Heights has now joined with regional neighbors Spokane and Spokane Valley in the combined licensing service that connects agency and city registrations. Nearby Cheney, Medical Lake, and Springdale will join BLS in the next two months.
