About 130,000 businesses have a reseller permits that expired on December 31, 2013. Qualifying businesses automatically received a renewed permit by mail.

If you need a reseller permit:

Check whether your reseller permit is current by searching our business records database. If it is, and you need a reprint, please call us at 1-800-647-7706.

If you need to apply for a reseller permit, follow these steps:

Apply online:

  • Log in to My Account
  • Choose “Manage Business Account” in left navigation bar
  • Choose “Apply/View status of Reseller Permit”
  • Follow instructions to apply


Or complete a paper application (pdf) and mail to the address indicated on the form.
