Approximately 130,000 businesses currently have a reseller permit that will expire effective December 31, 2013.Qualifying businesses will automatically receive a renewed permit by mail. Businesses whose reseller permit was not automatically renewed will receive a renewal notice from the Department explaining that the permit will soon expire.
Follow the steps below if you have received a renewal notice and would like to apply for renewal. Due to the large number of expiring permits, it may take the Department longer than normal to approve or deny renewal applications. Renewal permits will be effective as of January 1, 2014, for all approved applications filed from now through March 31, 2014 (90 days from the expiration date).

- Choose “Manage Business Account” in left navigation bar
- Choose “Apply/View status of Reseller Permit”
- Follow instructions to apply
