OLYMPIA – July 3, 2014 – Business owners in Washington are responsible for knowing which taxes to report. To help them, the Washington State Department of Revenue (Revenue) is hosting two free workshops for new and small business owners in Spokane on Wednesday, July 16.

Participants will learn about Washington excise taxes, reporting classifications, deductions, tax incentives, sales tax collection and record-keeping requirements. Attendees receive a workbook and helpful reference guide to Revenue’s rules and regulations.

Date: Wednesday, July 16
Time: 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-4:30 p.m. (two sessions)
Location: Rock Point III, 3rd Floor, Conference Room A, 1330 N. Washington St., Spokane
